Transfered 11

Here is my team of the season, but with the exciting feature of it consisting only of players who were bought at the start of (or during) the season. I may explain some of my choices should you ask, but for now all you're going to get are cold, heartless names.

............................................Schwarzer.........................................

Bosingwa..............Hangeland.............Faye................L. Young

Geovanni............Modric.................Fellaini................Arshavin

............................Robinho...............Crouch.................................

Subs: Friedel, Figueroa (only made permanent this season), Corluka, Nasri, Malbranque, Milner, Beattie.

As an aside, all of these players deserved the PFA award ahead of Ryan Giggs. It just goes to show you the madness of having ex-players as pundits.

what has ex-players got to do with giggs gettin pfa? isnt current players who vote?

not defending giggs here at all... he shouldnt have won it but just wondering about the relevance of your comment?

Well these current players will soon be ex-players, and will therefore be given jobs in punditry despite not knowing anything about football. Their decision to hand Giggs the award is a demonstration that most footballers (including the ones now appearing in front of us as pundits) know next to nothing about the sport they play.

If you want further proof, try and find Messi's team of the year 07/08. Im pretty sure it includes van Bronkhorst.

I think Beattie should be in the starting 11 and Etherington deserves a mention. Aside from that it's just a bit of an odd criteria for a choice
